Expert selection

Describe who should answer. Preferences guide matching; exclusions are always applied.

Use expert_requirements to describe the panel you want. Leave it blank and Synquery picks the mix.

Preferences and exclusions

Everything in expert_requirements except the exclusions is a preference. Synquery delivers the closest panel it can and names any gap in warnings. Mandatory qualifications are not supported in this version.

Exclusions are always applied. Current and former staff of companies in exclude_companies are never delivered, and current employees of the subject company are excluded unless you set include_current_employees: true.

Use your own wording

Listed values are examples. Roles, seniority levels and sides take your own wording, and Synquery matches on it. Put any other matching preference in custom.

Named experts

Experts are anonymous by default. With expert_identity: "named", only experts who consent to be identified are delivered, and each response adds name, current_employer and profile_url. Named panels can be smaller or slower to fill, and any gap is reported in warnings.
